ABSTRACT:

Employee Engagement has become most popular term in every business. Mangers found its linkage with profitability and productivity. Even in various organizations’ contributions of great managers were defined through boosting level of engagement. Therefore objective of this paper is to present brief overview about employee engagement. It is about evolution of employee engagement, meaning and measurement of engagement, antecedents of employee engagement and consequences of engagement. It is concluded that Employee engagement is capable of working successfully in business to improve productivity and performance.
